Abstract

The relevance of this article is due to the demand of the state and society for specialists capable of effectively performing professional tasks. The authors establish the need for the development of entrepreneurial way of thinking among future engineers to fulfill the request of society.

The article reveals the essence of this type of thinking and its structure, including awareness of prospects, the ability to choose new means of achievement, acceptance of the probability of failure, the ability to assess risks, analysis of results. The properties of personality necessary for its development are formulated: subjective position, internal locus of control, professional and acmeological orientation. The purpose of the article is to assess the readiness of future engineers to develop and apply entrepreneurial way of thinking in their professional activities. The results of the study of a group of students engaged in the project "Wings of Rostec" under a special program are described.
