Abstract

The relevance of the article is due to the need of society for the development of testing as part of non-formal foreign language education. The purpose of the article is to emphasize that testing is a diagnosis of the development of an educational program and the disclosure of individual skills. The aim is to show that testing is a highly specialized type of verification carried out in comfortable conditions, which allows objectively measuring the studied characteristics of the selected subject with the available knowledge, skills and abilities. The authors have formulated various types of testing: static testing, integration testing, unit testing, system testing – each of which covers its own goals and set specific tasks. Based on the study of a number of factors and as a result of the analysis of international experience in the implementation of non-formal foreign language education, the basic subjective characteristics of non-formal foreign language education are determined. The essence is revealed - the authors determine the forms of interaction in the conditions of informal education.

The article concludes on the basis of the studied materials and research methods that the level of informal foreign language education and the level of students' understanding of the educational material is increasing. At the same time, the level of understanding is considered in the article as the correlation of one's feelings and ideas about an object or phenomenon with the point of view about it and the feelings of other people. As part of their research activities, a foreign language teacher should have the skills to create favorable conditions in the classroom for the formation of students' research skills. The authors believe that it is the research competence of the teacher that is the most important component of the methodological style: most of the activities implemented by him in practice are based on this competence.

The most important components of the learning process within the framework of non–formal foreign language education based on innovative approaches are communication and equal cooperation, as well as mutual understanding during the implementation of subject-subject relations, personality-oriented interaction of all participants in the educational process. In conclusion, it should be noted that within the framework of non-formal foreign language education, a targeted orientation is being implemented to improve research skills, which act as a means of professional and methodological development of a foreign language teacher. The article is intended for a wide range of readers, it will be of interest to both students and teachers implementing this type of knowledge assessment into their system.
