Abstract

The article is devoted to the content and organizational issues of the formation of research competencies of students in the study of physics. The expediency of changing approaches to the university preparation, aimed at informal education, has been determined. The efficiency of the use of methodological support for the research activities of students is substantiated. The subject of study is the possibilities and advantages of support technology in solving professionally-oriented problems in physics in terms of enhancing the quality of training of a future engineer, the formation of professional (research) competencies among university graduates.

The potential of professionally oriented tasks for the formation of students' research competencies is determined. As part of the study, the prospects of this technology were proved, as evidenced by the high level of formation of students' professional competencies.

Recommendations have been developed on the use of technology to support research activities for teachers, specific examples of the organization of interaction between a teacher and the students are given. The article is intended for teachers of physics in higher educational institutions.
