Abstract

Over the past 20 years, the education sector in many countries has been undergoing a significant transformation due to globalization, internationalization, and the digital revolution. New challenges have contributed to the development of the information educational environment at universities. At the same time, a significant task of the development of this environment is the formation of a personality who is physically and mentally healthy. The purpose of the study is to determine the efficiency of the developed online course in the formation of students' conscious attitude to their physical and mental health. Methods: the content analysis is used for students' essays, the percentage distribution of the significance of the categories of content analysis. The study involved 1,830 students from three Russian universities.

The uniqueness of the developed online course is an integrated approach that includes a psychological component aimed at increasing the degree of awareness of the motivation of boys and girls towards a healthy lifestyle, a practical component aimed at mastering the methods of psychophysical training as a tool for maintaining physical and mental health, a reflexive component for analyzing the results of the work done, including using electronic devices. As a result of the content analysis, 7 categories of conscious attitude to health were identified. The most significant were "Improvement of physical condition" and "Improvement of mood, emotions". Discussion: In fact, all categories of content analysis reflect the positive effect of the course (strengthening, promotion, improvement, etc.), negative – only 1 category of "poor health", which scored the lowest number of points. At the same time, the fact that this category was singled out indicates a high level of students’ reflection, which means an increase in conscious attitude to their physical and mental health.

Conclusion: the development of an informational educational environment that contributes to strengthening the conscious attitude of the population to their physical and mental health requires further dissemination. The use of a personality-developing informational educational environment should also be included in the system of additional education of citizens to increase the level of conscious attitude to their health among the population of different ages.
