Abstract

The relevance of this study is due to the need to update existing and develop new pedagogical techniques and technologies. The purpose of the article is to study the negative consequences of humor used in the educational process of a technical university.

The authors analyzed the main functions of humor in pedagogical activity. The possibilities of humor in creating a positive educational environment of the university are determined.

Educational situations in which the use of humor can lead to negative consequences are classified. Ways to neutralize the negative impact of humor on the educational process and interpersonal interaction between teachers and students are proposed.

The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that this topic is considered for the first time in relation to the educational process of a technical university. The article is intended for teachers, practitioners, scientists involved in the development of modern technologies for vocational education.
