Abstract

This article examines the essence and content of the practical training of a conductor-choirmaster in the conditions of a musical and pedagogical university from various stand points. The interaction of various professional competencies of graduates is shown, as well as various pedagogical approaches used in the process of training specialists in this field.

It is noted that despite the fact that graduates of musical and pedagogical universities are initially focused in their training on pedagogical activity, due attention to it does not appear immediately, but in the process of preparation, which is characterized as polyvariable.

The interaction of performing and pedagogical activities in the process of training and professional work as a teacher-musician obliges us to take a responsible approach to identifying methods for understanding and practical application of the entire complex of professional competencies, necessary personal qualities, with the help of which a highly professional image of a teacher-musician is formed.
