CopyThe article considers resource and adaptive gestures in the pantomimicry of involved persons during the concealment of information. Resource gestures have an unconscious nature and are connected with empathic and tactile contact in the "mother-child" system. The ethological, phylogenetic and ontogenetic origin of pantomimic production under stress (fear of disclosure) is analyzed. A differentiated analysis of the phylogenesis and genesis of manipulative gestures is given. According to the authors’ opinion, their nature is the clinging reflex, which has a homologous nature in primates and homo sapiens. Observations of clinging and shifting to inanimate objects are presented.
Observations were made in a group of cubs of macaques, baboons, monkeys in natural "mother and child" contact and rejected cubs, in a group of mentally healthy children and teenagers from 1 – 15 years old and adult respondents from 18 years old. Manipulative gestures belong to the group of resource gestures. They unconsciously cause a feeling of safety on negative stimulus, have calming value, restore a mental homeostasis at nervous-mental pressure.
