Abstract

Modern advances in the field of physics are part of the pedagogical technology, allowing for out-of-class education in this science. One of the main goals of preparing a future physics teacher is to develop professional competencies that will allow him to work in extracurricular physics., the basic principles of didactics and knowledge of dialectics were used to achieve this goal, together with comparative, analytical and synthesizing methods. The purpose of the work is to analyze the development of professional competencies of future teachers of physics in the process of their preparation for joint activities with schoolchildren.

The methodological bases of the study are the works of domestic and foreign scientists. Methods of system and situational analysis, methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, comparison, abstraction, etc. were used. Scientific novelty. According to the authors, extracurricular activities in physics should be created on the appropriate methodological base, and the corresponding methodological base consists of two main areas that complement each other: the methodological foundations of modern pedagogy and the methodological foundations of general scientific research.

The article discusses the main aspects of the development of professional competencies of future physics teachers in the process of their preparation for extracurricular activities with schoolchildren. Attention is drawn to the need to diagnose the interests and needs of students when choosing extracurricular activities. The authors of the article emphasize that an important direction is the training of future teachers of physics, namely the preparation of bachelors for the organization of extracurricular activities for schoolchildren. It is noted that the success of the implementation of extracurricular work depends on the relevance and novelty of the content of the material in physics and the variety of activities of students.
